As the marketing and sales arm for the State of Georgia, the Department of Economic Development promotes the state’s business-friendly environment around the world. Each year the department organizes business missions to help Georgia’s companies market themselves globally and to introduce other countries to the state’s business assets. This process is vital to the state’s efforts to promote cross-border trade between international markets and the State of Georgia.

Missions provide Georgia businesses with unparalleled opportunities to develop relationships with potential business partners abroad and to promote Georgia as a great place to do business, work, live and play. Missions provide access to economies that are constantly expanding in the field of foreign trade. Industries and companies of all sizes are welcome to participate. Space is limited for each mission and registrations are processed in a timely fashion to allow optimum organization. Stay up to date on current and past missions by visiting the Governor's Business Mission Journal.
