Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers business consultation and educational opportunities that address human resources, management, technology, business plan and strategy development and funding information.

 

Technical College System of Georgia offers certificate courses on entrepreneurship along with technical skills. 

 

The University System of Georgia offers business courses and degree programs. 

 

Georgia Micro Enterprise Network (GMEN) , a private, nonprofit organization, connects entrepreneurs with a network of technical and funding assistance opportunities. A microenterprise is a business that:
• is owner-operated
• has fewer than five employees
• has start-up capital needs of less than $35,000
• has initial gross revenues under $100,000.


The Service Corps of Retired Executives Association (SCORE) is a nonprofit dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide.  This link will help locate a chapter in your area.

 

The Edge Connection is a nonprofit microenterprise SBA Business Center offering free legal, technical and marketing consulting, courses for entrepreneurs, and incubator space. The center targets low-to-moderate-income individuals, women, minorities, veterans and people with disabilities.
