Women, Minorities & Youth

Georgia recognizes that its fastest-growing business segments are women and minorities:

  • Six Georgia women-owned companies made the list of the 50 fastest-growing, women-owned companies in the U.S. (Entrepreneur.com 11/08)

  • Georgia Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) are the fastest-growing business segment; Women Business Enterprises (WBE) are the second-fastest-growing segment. (GMSBD 2/08)

Just as critical is the importance of planting the seed of entrepreneurship in Georgia’s youth by exposing them to the opportunities of creative thinking and starting their own business.
