Georgia Industries

Kia Motors Corporation

Korean auto maker Kia Motors Corporation is building its first U.S.-based assembly plant in Georgia. The $1.2 billion investment will create 2,500 jobs for the state.

Entertainment Tax Incentives

Disney Family Channel, Echo Lake Productions and Warner Specialty Productions have filmed in Georgia due to the state’s aggressive entertainment tax incentives.

Georgia Musical Talent

More than 37 artists, producers, songwriters, conductors and other musical talents with Georgia ties were honored as 51st Annual GRAMMY® Award nominees.

Did You Know?

Without tourism-related tax revenues, every household in the state would pay about $505 in additional taxes, on average.

The variety of industries that call Georgia home continues to widen, outpacing the expansion of business sectors seen in many other states. Most recently, substantial growth in the biosciences industry has added an exciting dimension to the state’s already-impressive high-tech market, which is fostered by dynamic research universities and private-public partnerships, statewide.

Still, the mainstay industries of Georgia – automotive, agriculture, food processing, tourism, metal fabrication and plastics – continue to flourish. Whether domestically or internationally, these industries demonstrate the state’s supportive foundation for sustained business success.

Whatever industry you’re in, look to Georgia as the place to be. We have a proven track record for helping you compete on any scale and on any front.
