VISION
The Georgia Centers of Innovation (GCOI) provide the expertise and connections to help Georgia companies and strategic industries solve problems, grow quickly and compete globally. They work in three areas to accomplish this goal.
Leveraging industry expertise: GCOIs know their industries. They can help you understand domestic and global issues and grasp important trends so you can navigate the business environment more effectively and seize opportunities you may never have known existed. They also focus Georgia’s educational resources on workforce requirements so you attract the talent you need to be successful.
Making connections: GCOIs build networks. They can introduce you to companies like you — and to events, associations and government resources that will help fuel your growth.
Providing access to researchers and resources: Georgia is rich and diverse in university expertise. GCOIs can help you access that network. They can also assist you in finding matching research grant funding as well as understanding how to work with universities in regards to intellectual property rights.
