Arthur Tripp Jr. is Vice President, Economic Development for Georgia Power, bringing a background in economic development, knowledge in federal and state policy, and strong external relationships. Previously, he served as Director of Federal Legislative Affairs for Georgia Power in Washington, D.C. Before joining Georgia Power, Tripp was Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency in the state. He also worked as a senior policy advisor and district director for members of the U.S. House of Representatives and as a Senior Administrator in the Office of the President at the University of Georgia (UGA). A Warner Robins native, Tripp earned his degree from UGA. He is a graduate of the 2019 Class of Leadership Georgia and served as a program chair for the 2020 class. In addition to serving as an Advisor to the Georgia Department of Economic Development Board of Directors, Tripp is active on several additional boards.
