Georgia Small Business Appointed to U.S. Trade Advisory Committee
Last week, Sean Casey, President of Georgia-based Rotorcorp, LLC, was appointed to the Industry Trade Advisory Committee (ITAC) a unique public-private partnership jointly managed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Office of the United States Trade Representative to engage business leaders in formulating U.S. trade policy.

Based in Atlanta, Rotorcorp is the leading provider of parts, engines and major components for Robinson Helicopters – the most widely produced helicopter in the world. The company currently maintains the largest in-stock inventory of Robinson helicopter parts in the world and currently services more than 1,000 customers in over 45 countries.
Rotorcorp has worked extensively with GDEcD’s International Trade Division and its international representatives to achieve success in countries all over the world.
“GDEcD’s Trade Division has helped Rotorcorp achieve international success on a number of fronts. Our biggest win resulted from country-specific research performed by GDEcD’s representative in Brazil that has served as the procuring cause for significant business deals in that market. GDEcD’s trade team has facilitated conference calls, translation assistance and supported our larger international efforts with pertinent industry research that has helped guide our overall export strategy.”

Rotorcorp also engages with GDEcD export resource partners, the UGA Small Business Development Center’s International Trade Center and the U.S. Commercial Service.
Earlier this year, Rotorcorp was named the 2019 Exporter of the Year for the State of Georgia and Southeast Region by the U.S. Small Business Administration and a 2019 Outstanding Exporter at the National Small Business Exporter Summit.
