The Center of Innovation for Logistics recently released In Motion: A Study of Georgia’s Logistics Industry in 2018 which included very encouraging news on the size, scope and strength of the state’s logistics industry. Created in partnership with the Selig Center for Economic Growth at University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, the report highlights a number of factors that demonstrate the value that this strategic industry provides to Georgia.

- $60.7B in economic output
- $33.5B in state GDP
- $2.7B in state and local tax revenue
- 1 in every 14 jobs (362,000) in Georgia owes its existence to the state’s logistics industry
