Mr. Eric C. Pitts is the Vice President of US Operations for Inversa Systems. He received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in 6 states. Mr. Pitts has more than 31 years of experience utilizing Asset Management practices to administer and direct transportation engineering and maintenance programs for highways, roadways, and bridges, including resurfacing and interstate rehabilitation, pavement and sign management, pavement marking maintenance, community outreach, emergency management, and vegetation management. He has served as project manager for numerous projects throughout the state for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Local Governments and private engineering companies.
Mr. Pitts spent more than two decades with GDOT, accumulating a wealth of experience and knowledge of the agency’s policies and procedures. Mr. Pitts has directed, supervised, and inspected construction, maintained management systems, analyzed reports to evaluate maintenance operations for compliance, developed budgets, monitored schedules, reviewed contracts, and investigated and analyzed major construction claims. He is adept at introducing new technologies to businesses and government agencies to address infrastructure condition and functionality of transportation assets.
