Carpenter Tackles the Difficult Projects for Film
Raniero Daza has always wanted to be part of the film and theater world. Born in Chile and raised in Florida, he worked in set construction in television and theater. However, his career really started to take off when he moved to Decatur to be a production carpenter. Raniero worked his way up to manage a crew of five and create intricate and complex sets, including a NASA replica cockpit for ‘“First Man.” His advice to fellow carpenters: patience. “It’s exciting to see thousands of people take advantage of all the opportunities here. I feel proud of what I have done to help them.”
