Decatur Resident Earns Increased Income as Set Dresser

Before his job as an on-set production dresser, Germaine Riggs could not afford health insurance. His position as a cook didn't pay all the bills, and he had to supplement his income with food delivery jobs. A degree from film school and a move to Georgia changed all that. Now Germaine has health benefits and earns double what he did as a cook. “Now that I’ve found steady jobs in the Georgia film industry...I have health benefits for the first time in a decade.”
