East Point is in the “Film Triangle” for Production
East Point has been capitalizing on its ideal location for film and TV production, also known as the “Film Triangle.” Situated next to studio complexes (Tyler Perry Studios and EUE/Screen Gems) and a short drive to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the community is home to many professionals in the production industry. Recently, numerous productions have been shot in East Point, including “Hidden Figures” and “Stranger Things.” And each of these productions rely on small businesses and local talent. “We extend as much hospitality, cordiality, and professionalism as we can because we really see the benefit to the community.”
