First Responder Couple Own Film EMT Business
Andrea McDougal and her husband Christpher are the owners of McDougal Movie Medics, which staff productions with certified emergency medical professionals. Before starting their own business, Andrea worked with Grady EMS and served as a contractor for the military overseas. Christopher used his background as a former captain with the Atlanta Fire Department to recruit other first responders to join the film industry. “The impact of the industry on Georgia is far reaching--it’s not just jobs. It’s establishing a foothold, buying homes, settling into careers because of all the opportunities.”
