“The local film economy enabled me to buy a house, settle down, get married and run the rivers of North Georgia.”

Photographer Steve Dietl has been working in Georgia’s film industry for over 10 years, amassing credits such as “Ozark,” “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and “Raising Dion.” Steve was drawn to the variety of film productions in Georgia when he moved to the state from New Orleans: “I’d work on a feature one day, episodic television the next day and a reality show the day after that.” Georgia has worked wonders for Steve’s creative juices: “You never know what importance a photograph will have.”
