Production is “Good for Macon, Good for Business, Especially”

Recent movie production has drawn excitement from Macon residents. HBO has been filming off Cherry Street in downtown Macon, and city officials have been happy with the economic investment it has brought. Productions can often generate thousands of dollars for small businesses in a particular community, and that is certainly the case in Macon. Producers have already spent $26,000 on film permits, with restaurants downtown catering to crew members and onlookers.
