Retired Teacher Becomes Actress
Theresa Daniel retired from teaching in Monroe County and was looking for her “second act.” She found it as an actress in over 75 productions that have filmed in Georgia. Theresa got her start as an extra in an independent film that used her school’s facilities. That experience led to many more opportunities for her to pursue her new passion for acting. With her new income in film, she was also able to build a new deck and go on vacations with her husband. “I feel like the film industry is feeding Georgia, both economically and artistically.”
