Rigger Starts His Own Business: Grip It Good
After moving to Georgia from Puerto Rico to work in production rigging, Manny Rivera saw an opportunity to start his own business. Grip It Good was founded in 2015, and it supplies rigging equipment to TV and film productions across Atlanta. Through his work in the film industry, Manny also helps fellow riggers find employment by recommending many of them to various productions. “There’s tons of film production work in Georgia...I have seen how the industry creates jobs and employs lots of people.”
