Savannah Locals Help Complete Film During Pandemic
“After being shut down for months, it felt good to give the people in our community jobs,” says Savannah native Mark McCullough, writer and director of “A Savannah Haunting.” COVID briefly shut down production in Georgia, but Mark’s project was one of the first productions allowed to start back based on the guidelines put out by state officials. Cast and crew followed these protocols as they were tested three times a week. Mark’s production was an example of the state and local community coming together during a global pandemic to safely support film production.
