Garnett Johnson is the 85th Mayor of the City of Augusta and the Owner of Augusta Office Solutions and Modern Business Workplace Solutions. With locations in Augusta and Savannah, the company supports a customer base across all sectors of business including private, education, government, and healthcare. Engaged civically, Johnson serves on numerous boards. Before being elected Mayor, Garnett served as the 2022 Chairman of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Augusta Exchange Club, and a 2015 graduate of Leadership Augusta and a 2020 graduate of Leadership Georgia. He is also a passionate supporter of the mission of the American Heart Association. Johnson is a graduate of Augusta University’s Hull College of Business where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Business Management. An Augusta native, he is married to Toni Seals-Johnson and they have two daughters. They are members of Good Shepherd Baptist Church.
