Senior Manager, Government Affairs & Policy

Gracie Beasley serves as Senior Manager of Government Affairs and Policy at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, where she supports the department’s mission by advancing strategic policy initiatives and strengthening relationships with state and local stakeholders.

Gracie brings valuable experience in Georgia’s political and legislative landscape through government relations and campaign management. Most recently, at a leading public affairs firm, she managed legislative strategies, monitored and evaluated policies affecting business and economic interests, and built strong relationships with members of the Georgia General Assembly and state agencies. Gracie was also named a Rising Star in the political field in recognition of her results.  

Gracie previously served as Campaign Manager for a member of the Georgia State House Majority Caucus Leadership in a competitive district. She also interned with a member of Georgia’s Congressional delegation in Washington, D.C. Her experience includes legislative research, constituent services, grassroots engagement, and operational leadership.

Gracie hails from Augusta, Georgia, and has spent most of her life in the state. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a minor in Religion from the University of Georgia. She has a deep understanding of Georgia’s political landscape and employs a collaborative approach to advance economic development statewide.
