As the Movie Business Grew Here, So Did Ours
Dallas resident and electrical contractor Rick Harris started Harris Diversified as an electrical equipment rental company catering to the film industry. What began as a family operation, quickly grew to 14 full time employees. The company got their “big break” with the movie “The Blind Side,” but now provides turnkey services with furnishment of air conditioners, light towers, and power distribution equipment to sets and production sound stages throughout Georgia. “We are very fortunate in having the movie business here. It’s been a blessing and we love it!”
