Junk Removal Company Expands to Film, Hires Homeless

Rusty Brown of Fayetteville initially founded JUNKitGEORGIA as a residential home junk removal and recycling service. But all of that changed in 2008 when he got a call from a production company. He now works on 30 productions, employs three full-time employees, and has even designed and built specific portable dumpsters that have been installed at film production base camps. One of his first hires was a homeless man in Atlanta who has been working for JUNKitGeorgia ever since. Georgia “is a great state to do business in, and it’s given me the opportunity to provide work for other Georgians.”
