Certification Process
The certification is issued and managed by the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Certification occurs on a product-by-product basis. A company must demonstrate that each product seeking certification is 50% or more manufactured in Georgia. Upon being awarded certification, the company will enter into the Georgia Made Licensing Agreement, which must be executed prior to a company receiving the Georgia Made logo file.
Please allow two weeks for review of your submission and response. A final in-person verification may be required to validate the data submitted. The Georgia Department of Economic Development will conduct an annual assessment to ensure proper usage. Please refer to adherence requirements in the Style Guide and Georgia Made Certification Licensing Agreement.
