Callaway Blue | 2021 Small Business Rock Star

Hidden in the Pine Mountain ridge of Harris County, you will find Blue Springs, a quartzite bedrock spring that produces some of the purest water in Georgia. It’s no wonder this stunning natural ecosystem caught the eye of Cason and Virginia Hand Callaway in the 1920s. For four generations, the Callaway family has remained dedicated to safeguarding the land around this spring. 

In 2002, the Callaway family decided to bottle this liquid gold and share it with the rest of the world. Since then, the Callaways have been working to preserve, conserve, and utilize the land’s natural resources in a sustainable way.  Today, Callaway Blue water is sold locally at Publix, Piggly Wiggly, Winn-Dixie, and QuikTrip’. They also bottle water for private labels.  

We are excited to award Callaway Blue as a 2021 Small Business Rock Star for Region 8. Their hard work to provide a natural-made good to the public, while caring and conserving land, showcases their dedication to our state.
