Rob Garcia is a passionate advocate for the role of education in Cobb's economic development efforts. As the Project Manager for the Cobb Workforce Partnership, Rob localized the efforts of Governor Deal's High Demand Career Initiative to align education and workforce training with the needs of local business. Rob serves on the Cobb Workforce Investment Board and is the youngest member of the Chattahoochee Technical College Board of Directors in its history, connecting local workforce development with Cobb's postsecondary institutions. In 2016, Rob was one of 22 national fellows in the ACCE Educational Attainment Fellowship to study workforce development best practices across the Unites States. He also serves on the board of Georgia's Innovation Crescent Regional Partnership and the United Way Cobb Advisory Board. Rob graduated with a finance degree from Auburn University in 2015 and currently serves as the Senior Manager of Workforce Development Initiatives for the Cobb Chamber and Cobb's Competitive EDGE.
