Creature Comforts is a craft brewery focused on manufacturing, marketing and selling finely balanced artisanal craft beer. They employ 38.

• Avoiding many traditional marketing mediums, they focus on industry-specific events & promotions travelling around the country to build buzz
• They are one of the first and only breweries in the SE to produce a sour beer and introduce it in a 6-pack format year round, which separated them from others in their industry
• Their lower alcohol IPA is now the highest rated beer in GA and the only beer to ever crack the top 200 beers in America on Beer Advocate
• They won the local 'Outstanding Rehabilitation' award for gutting and re-purposing an old car dealership in downtown Athens, using reclaimed wood from the original building
• Since 2014 they've increased their job number by over 660% and their revenue by 355%

COMPANY TO DO:  Worked very closely with Athens-Clarke ED team, secured initial funding through GA Cities Foundation, secured recent funding through the state's Sm Bus Credit Initiative and are working with the department's Tourism division for a grant.
