Reformation Brewery exists to redeem beer culture declaring beer is a good gift by revering the foundational art and science of brewing passed down thousands of generations. They employ 10.

  • After asking 'why do we enjoy drinking good beer?' they were inspired to make beer that connects people to each other and to moments in time
  • Their entire business model is built on the concept of enjoying well-made beer as a gift and sharing that gift with others.
  • Choosing to grow organically, they did not raise a large amount of capital and purchase the largest equipment, rather, they started with a few like-minded investors and opened a production brewery on the smallest equipment possible – a 1-barrel brewhouse
  • They've since scaled up to a 7-barrel brewhouse and recently installed the first High Efficiency Brewing System in the state of GA
  • Revenue has increased by 600%
  • Job creation increased 1000% (zero to 10) since August 2014
  • Beer tourism is growing and 12,000 visitors were welcomed in year one which impacted downtown Woodstock's economy.

COMPANY TO DO:   Cherokee Office of ED was involved early on with site selection, permitting and zoning.  Woodstock DDA expanding its downtown district to ensure that they had access to all resources during startup.  City of Woodstock made zoning amendments and were very supportive and recognized the tourism impact this could make on the community.  Cherokee chamber supports them and COED and GDEcD are helping with future expansion plans.
