2025 RFP – Int’l Trade Representation in Colombia and Mexico


GDEcD is the state's sales and marketing arm and lead agency for job creation for Georgians. GDEcD plans, manages and mobilizes state resources to attract new business investment to Georgia, drive the expansion of existing industry and small business, locate new markets for Georgia products, inspire tourists to visit Georgia and promote the state as a top destination for arts events and film, music and digital entertainment projects. In 2024, Georgia was recognized for the eleventh consecutive year as the number one state in the U.S. in which to do business.

The objective of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to obtain the services of a qualified firm or consultant to represent the State of Georgia’s economic development interests in Colombia and Mexico (jointly, the “Territory”), with a specific emphasis on Georgia’s export promotion services. One hundred percent (100%) of this contract will support the export of Georgia products and services to the Territory. Eligible bidders must have a physical presence in the Territory, have a minimum of three (3) years of trade development experience, and have significant ties to the business community in market. Successful bidders must achieve a measurable increase in the export of Georgia products and services as a result of the work performed on behalf of the State of Georgia.
