Shirelda Feagen is the Director of Manufacturing at the Center of Innovation. In this role, Shirelda is committed to fostering manufacturing growth and advancing Georgia's reputation as a global leader in innovation and production. With over two decades of leadership in quality assurance, supplier management, and operational excellence across the automotive and manufacturing sectors, Shirelda brings invaluable expertise to the Center.
Shirelda has held previous leadership roles at globally recognized companies including Kia Motors Manufacturing, Fisker Inc., and Honda Manufacturing. She has managed supplier quality assurance for over 500 suppliers, led international audits, and directed strategic projects that resulted in significant cost savings and process improvements. Her expertise encompasses Six Sigma methodologies, ISO standards, and new model development, making her a dynamic force in driving innovation and operational success.
A dedicated advocate for continuous learning, Shirelda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from South Carolina State University, where she was a Presidential Scholar. She is also pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership at Brenau University. Certified as a Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence by the American Society for Quality, Shirelda is also a Six Sigma Green Belt and ISO Lead Auditor.
