Globe Awards
Georgia’s GLOBE Awards program began in 2014 as a way to recognize local businesses contributing to Georgia’s economic growth through global trade. Companies are eligible to apply if they successfully entered a new international market during calendar year 2021 (January 1 – December 31, 2021).
Three Georgia companies from among the 2022 applicants will also be recognized as Exporters of the Year in the small, medium, and large size categories.
Applications for the 2022 GLOBE Awards are now closed. Winners and Exporters of the Year will be recognized during World Trade Month in May 2022.
Since the inception of the GLOBE Awards program, the State of Georgia has awarded a cumulative 251 awards to companies in 45 counties across the state. In 2021, GDEcD recognized 17 GLOBE winners located across 11 Georgia counties, as well as two Global Grit Award winners.
The 2021 GLOBE winners and Global Grit recipients collectively entered 50 new international markets during calendar year 2020 and are valuable contributors to Georgia’s economy; their dedication to exporting is instrumental to Georgia maintaining its status as a Top State for Business.
