Greenfield LLC: Connecting Georgia Forests to Global Markets

Proudly based in Savannah, Greenfield LLC exports Georgia forestry products to more than a dozen international markets. Launched in 2020, the company ships logs, lumber, biomass, and woodchips through the nearby Port of Savannah, its primary gateway to the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

On the ground: Greenfield works directly with Georgia landowners and family-run suppliers, keeping more economic value circulating within rural communities. Its services support logging crews, truck drivers, and port personnel, sustaining a thriving logistics network.

Driving efficiency: To manage complex global supply chains, the company integrates artificial intelligence into inventory and logistics systems. All exports meet FSC® certification and European Union Deforestation Regulation standards, reinforcing responsible sourcing practices.

Looking ahead: As global demand for sustainable materials increases, Greenfield is scaling its biomass and wood product exports with the help of the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Trade specialists, further advancing Georgia’s leadership in the international forestry market.
