As required by O.C.G.A. § 50-13-4, the Georgia Department of Economic Development is notifying you that it proposes to amend Chapter 159-1-1 Film Tax Credit pursuant to its authority under O.C.G.A. § 48-7-40.26, which goes into effect January 1, 2026. The synopsis, the proposed amended rule, a redline version of the old and new rules, and the meeting notice are linked here.
All interested persons are invited to submit data, views, or arguments, orally or in writing, regarding the proposed amended rule. Anyone interested in submitting a written statement may do so by mailing a copy by December 5, 2025, to the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Attn: Rules Comments, 75 5thStreet, N.W., Suite 1200, Atlanta, Georgia, 30308. Comments may also be sent via e-mail to [email protected].
