Dave Holland
As a teaching artist with over 20 years experience, Dave's wide range of programs are engaging, educational and memorable. Using the wide world of percussion, Dave creates programs that support learning in the following areas of learning:
- Sound & Science (Hey! What's that Sound? / Pop, Zing, BOOM!)
- Early Literacy (Author's Visits/Drumming Up the Stories)
- World History, Geography & Culture (GloboDRUM/Rhythm of a Culture)
- Community (Share the Beat!)
Dave has studied in Ghana, Nigeria, Brazil, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Turkey, Japan, Trinidad and Tobago, and draws on those experiences to create programs that are unique, as well as rich with cultural connections.

Dave is the author of the Rhythm Rhyme Series of Children's books. This interactive series uses an arts integrative approach to support by rhythm-arts and early literacy.
Dave's latest school/library offerings are Author's Visits feature live readings of his books and interactive rhythm-making!
Dave's past and present arts affiliations include Georgia Council for the Arts, FABArts, Fulton County Teaching Museum, Georgia Music Foundation, High Museum, Cobb County Schools and Young Audiences.
