Jerry G. White

Georgia-based Teaching Artist. An author, percussionist, songwriter, producer, and storyteller, he integrates these disciplines through his work as both a performer and arts educator. He has served as a Board Member of the Decatur Arts Alliance (2006–2016; 2022–present), supporting the organization’s mission to celebrate and sustain the arts in the community.

His debut bilingual children’s book, Anansi and the Colorful Kente Cloth, illustrated by Courtney Strickland and published by 1010 Publishing, reflects his commitment to cultural storytelling and literacy.
