John Doyle
I design engaging, arts-integrated learning experiences that bring curriculum to life through storytelling, theater, and creative expression. Schools hire me to deepen student engagement while reinforcing literacy, social-emotional learning, and historical understanding across grade levels.
With years of experience as a teaching artist working in Pre-K through high school classrooms, I specialize in interactive programming that blends performance with instruction. My work supports both students and educators through classroom residencies, assemblies, and professional development that are practical, memorable, and immediately applicable.
My programs are designed to:
- Increase student engagement through interactive storytelling and drama
- Strengthen literacy, comprehension, and communication skills
- Support social-emotional learning, empathy, and self-expression
- Bring history and culture to life through performance-based learning
- Provide teachers with arts integration strategies they can use daily
I partner closely with schools to align my work with academic standards and school goals, ensuring each experience is meaningful and relevant. Whether working with young learners or facilitating staff training, my approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and rooted in creating impactful learning experiences that stay with students long after the lesson and/or performance ends.
