List Your Property as a Film Location

Only property owners may submit private residences; submissions from realtors or agents will not be considered. Commercial property street addresses remain visible; residential addresses do not.  

By submitting your property, you consent to having your contact information visible in the database (though the location can be removed at any time).  

Listings are for filming locations only, not lodging. Those wishing to market accommodations must register separately in the Georgia Production Directory

Upon submission, you will receive an automated confirmation email. Locations may take time for staff to review due to heavy submission volume. If you do not see your location listed in the locations database, it is either in the queue or has not been approved.

Once approved, the listing cannot be edited. If you have significant changes to your property, you will need to submit a new listing. Please contact us before doing so.  

Filmmakers will contact property owners directly if interested. Our office does not advise on location fees, which vary from project to project. In most cases, the production will make a specific offer based on budget and shooting requirements.  

Most film/TV productions carry insurance policies that indemnify you.

• Describe your property in concise terms.  
• In the submission form, change “Location Name” from the property address (default) to a descriptive title (Victorian home).  
• Add relevant details to the listing, including square footage, architectural style, year built, number of bedrooms, special features, etc.  
• If particular types of film or TV content or budget levels are not of interest, please note that in the “usage restriction” field.
• Submissions must include quality digital photos showing both interior and exterior views.

Images should highlight unique features, such as a pool or barn. Poor-quality, staged, outdated, or weather-affected photos will not be accepted. Properties currently for sale or undergoing major renovations are ineligible. The Film Office reserves the right to select the best among the submitted photos.

• 10-20 photos are ideal
• Must be 150 dpi or higher
• Recommended file size between 1-3 MB (maximum file size: 10MB)
• JPEG compression = 12 good quality
• 1680 X 1054 resolution (or higher) for large size web browsing
• Photos highlighting people, pets, or objects will not be accepted.
