Production Degrees and Certificates

The Georgia Film Academy (GFA) is a first-of-its-kind partnership of the University System of Georgia, the Technical College System of Georgia, and independent colleges that trains students for careers in film and digital entertainment. Curriculum in film and television production, post-production, live production, streaming, and esports are offered by the Georgia Film Academy at campuses statewide. Learn more at the GFA website.

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the “2025 Top 25 Best Film Schools” and ranks among the top programs in film, animation, drama, and costume design. SCAD students use world-class production equipment and collaborate with actors, writers, and crew throughout the production process. SCAD offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in film, television, editing, and cinematography. Learn more at the SCAD website.

The PA Academy, in partnership with Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS), is the premier weekend workforce training boot camp for production assistants. In addition to film and television, training also includes live events such as music, film, and arts festivals, corporate conventions, event staging, and light stagehand work.
