Northwest Georgia’s 15 counties combine a strong business climate with cultural, educational, and natural attractions. 

Cartersville in Bartow County is home to two Smithsonian-affiliate museums, including the Booth Western Art Museum and Tellus Science Museum. Springer Mountain, in the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail, is located near Blue Ridge and Ellijay in Fannin and Gilmer counties.
