Supporting Arts Across Georgia

Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) grants support arts projects and organizations of all kinds – big and small, new and established – across Georgia. Each year, grants go to both first-time applicants and long-standing recipients, and all eligible applicants are encouraged to apply. Grants are supported by appropriations from the Georgia General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.

How Are Grantees Selected?
GRANT PREVIEW PANELS

Grant review panelists come from across the state, are selected from a variety of disciplines, and serve in a variety of roles within their communities. Panels are thoughtfully selected to reflect diverse perspectives, regions, and organization sizes. Applications are reviewed alongside others of similar budget size to ensure fair comparisons.

To learn how grantees are selected, please see the grant guidelines for each specific program. FY27 grant panelist biographies are available on the respective grant pages.

Interested in serving as a grant panelist? GCA welcomes nominations. Submit a short bio or résumé to Director of Grants and Research, Allen Bell at [email protected].
