Impactful Arts Experiences for K-12 Students

Teaching Artists Registry

Georgia Council for the Arts’ K-12 Teaching Artists Registry connects schools and organizations with professional artists who bring creativity into the classroom. These teaching artists integrate their artistic expertise with educational goals, enhancing curricula through engaging, arts-based learning that is aligned with the Georgia Department of Education’s Georgia Standards of Excellence.

Each artist in the directory below is a trained and competitively evaluated professional with extensive experience in their discipline. All have passed background checks to work in school settings and are available for performances, workshops, and residencies across Georgia.

Applications for the GCA K-12 Teaching Artists Registry are open through November 20, 2026.

Applicants must be trained to deliver programs aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence in their art form, as well as arts-integrated and/or STEAM-based programs. Applications will be reviewed by a selection panel that includes experienced teaching artists, educators, and administrators before inclusion in the registry.
