Arts Education

Arts education programs give Georgia students opportunities to express ideas, build creative skills, and engage more deeply with the world around them. Working with teaching artists, educators, and community organizations, Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) expands access to arts experiences in classrooms and communities across the state as an integral part of a well-rounded education.

Arts Education Resources for Educators

Arts learning and arts integration resources are offered through some of GCA’s partner agencies across the state.

The Georgia Department of Education offers the following:

  • Inspire: Easy access to high-quality, standards-aligned instructional resources, curriculum maps, and lesson planning tools – all in one place.
  • Fine Arts Pathway: Preparing students for career opportunities in dance, music, and theater.
  • STEM/STEAM: Integrated curriculum driven by exploratory project-based learning and student-centered development of ideas and solutions.

The Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education connects leaders across the state to create better educational opportunities for students and positive economic outcomes for communities.
